About the Program
The Preschool program is designed to encourage your child to laugh, learn, and explore. With a ratio of 2 instructors to 16 children aged 2.5 to 4.5 years old, the room is supervised by at least two staff at all times: one R.E.C.E. and one E.C.A. Children in the program work to develop: self help skills; basic numbers, colours and alphabet; potty training; fine and gross motor skills; and manners (with a strong focus on sharing with friends). Daily activities for your child include story time, singing, outdoor activities and play. Boulton Avenue's Pre-School is a warm and exciting place for your child to grow.
The Preschool rooms participate in outdoor recreation activities in our secure roof top play yard daily from 10:30-12:00noon and 4:00-5:30pm, weather permitting. Every week, children's musician "Tim the Music Man" visits the centre and twice a month a local librarian and a Sport Play instructor are special guests.
All fees include hot meals, snacks and drinks, all facility fees, and Centre trips.
Hey everyone ! I am a register Early Childhood Educator and have been working at Boulton for 6 years in the different rooms. I would like to continue to challenge and gain knowledge within the field as I continue to grow as an ECE and support families as best as I can with regards to their children’s development. I am honoured to have this wonderful experience at Boulton avenue child care centre along side my colleagues and the amazing families. They are the reason Boulton avenue child care is the nurturing environment it is today and why we continue to stand strong!
